Sewing Classes

Class Information
Class Details (2026/27 School Year)

1 hour per week from September - May.

Class size is limited to 3-4 students per class.

Sewing machines & sewing tools are provided in class.

Students use the Kids Can Sew Curriculum workbook & pattern packet to learn to sew.

Students purchase their own fabric for each project. Thread and other small project supplies are provided.

Classes focus on clothing construction with some craft projects.
Classes are designed so students can start anytime during the year. Each child progresses at their own pace which creates a stress-free relaxing environment for learning to sew.

Classes mostly follow the Dublin City Schools calendar. Classes are not held when school is not is session. Sewing class is canceled when school is canceled due to weather or other school cancelations.
Pickup - Drop Procedure
Students may arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before class and should be picked up within 5 minutes after each class.
Tuition & Payment Policies
Class Tuition
First Month's tuition is $150 and is required at time of enrollment. Each month after is $90 per month. Payment is due the first class of each month. A late fee may be added if payment is received after the 10th of the month. First month's tuition is paid at the time of registration to reserve your child's spot.
After school classes for the 2026-27 school year are offered on a month to month basis from
September - May. Students are automatically enrolled each month unless notice to withdraw is given. 30 days withdraw notice is required and last month's tuition must be paid when notice is given.
Tuition is based upon an average of 3 classes per month throughout the school year (27 classes September-May). You are not charged extra for months with 4 or 5 classes. Likewise, tuition is not prorated for months with fewer than 3 classes. An additional 2-3 classes over the 27 guaranteed classes are built into the schedule for any teacher canceled classes such as emergencies, sickness, travel, weather, etc.
If classes fall below the 27 guaranteed classes, refunds or additional classes may be offered at the end of the year only.
Make Up Classes
Make up classes are not provided. When classes are held and a student is absent, refunds, makeups, and/or credits are not provided.

Respect equipment and other studio supplies.

Clean up your space.
Consume all food before class begins.
